At Homebazaar.com, we believe that learning never stops, and our doors are always open to anyone eager to grow. Hence, we launched Phase 1 of our upskilling initiative to promote learning initiatives across the organization.
With the support of the Training & IT teams, we rolled out this initiative through our Learning Management System (LMS) portal. The process was smooth, thanks to the dedication of instructors from various departments. Here’s how it unfolded:
Each team had a dedicated SPOC or Instructor responsible for creating learning initiative courses for their teams. In total, 15 skilled instructors uploaded 42 new courses to the LMS portal.
To acknowledge the hard work of these instructors, we evaluated their efforts based on several factors like course completion rates, engagement, and creativity. Here are the results:
- Winners: After-Sales Team Instructors.
- Runners-up: HR Ops and Content Team Instructors.
Goals of the Initiative
The primary purpose of this initiative was to:
- Encourage participation in training programs.
- Make learning fun and interactive.
- Speed up skill development.
- Inspire employees through friendly competition.
- Address low course completion rates.

- Build a strong learning culture.

This 30-day challenge not only fostered a sense of accomplishment but also showed the effectiveness of our LMS in making learning accessible and impactful.
The success of Phase 1 has motivated us to take this initiative further. In the future, we aim to introduce new features and courses, ensuring that every individual at Homebazaar.com continues to learn and grow. Together, we’re building a culture where learning is not just encouraged but celebrated.
